·         V:  Hi, my name is Syara. I have an appointment with Sandra Bates.

·         R:  Welcome to our facility. Sandra Bates will be with you shortly. Would you like something to                drink?

·         V:   No, thank you.  Can I use your phone?

·         R:  Of course.  We have a fax as well.

·         V:  It’s okay. I only need the phone.

·         R:  Let me show you to the phone.

·         V:  Thank you very much.

(Ten minutes later)

·         V:  Thank you again.

·         R:  Do you need anything else?

·         V:  Yes.  How far is it from here to the station?

·         R:  From here it’s too miles, but its ten minutes by taxi.  Would you like me to call for a taxi?

·         V:  Yes, please.  Can the taxi be here in 6 minutes?

·         R:  I promise to do that.  Sandra Bates is ready to attend you. I will show you to her office.
